Painting competition held in Moodubelle

Moodubelle, 22 September 2011: In the painting competitions held at St. Lawrence P.U. College recently on the occasion of the Birth Centenary Celebrations of the world famous painter from Kattingeri, Dr. K.K. Hebbar, a large number of students participated in the 3 categories of competitions; for the primary section, for the high school students and the PUC students.

 

 
Among the participants from the St. Lawrence P.U. College, the following are the winners:
 
P.U.C. Students: Jevita D’Souza – First, Rahul Pai – Second.
 
High School Students:  Manjunath Shenoy – Second, Bhavya Salyan – Third
 
Other students received complimentary prizes.
 
The painting competitions were jointly organized by Kannada and Culture Department Bangalore, District Administration Udupi, Jilla Panchayath Udupi and Dr. K.K. Hebbar Birth Centenary Celebration Committee.
