Bellevision Cute Kid Contest: Online voting opens today and Your Vote will decide the Winner

Udupi, 16 Oct 2012: The ‘Cute Kid’ Photo Contest which is organized by Bellevision.com on the occasion of its tenth anniversary has received overwhelming support from all over the world.  With the end of the first phase of registering photos of ‘cute kids’ in two categories 0-2 years and 2-5 years on October 15, 2012, the second phase of the contest opens  at 5 pm from October 16, 2012 with the on line voting by the viewers of bellevision.com.

 

 

This information was given by the representative of Bellevision.com in Mangalore, Henry Mendonca (H M Pernal) at the  Presss Meet held at the Udupi Press Club on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 11 am. Dr. Eugene D’Souza, Media Coordinator of Bellevision.com and Alphonse Mendonca, Belelvision representative from Abu-dhabi were also present at the Press Meet.

 

According to Henry Menonca, the kids in each of the two categories receiving highest number of on line votes along with the decision of the judges will be declared as the winners in each of the two categories.  While the on line votes  that each child receives will have 50% weightage along with 50% weightage of the judges. The combined decision of public votes as well as judge’s decision will decide  3 winners in each of the two categories who will walk away with prize money collectively worth Rupees 1.25 Lakh.

 

The method of voting by viewers is as follows: one can vote to any number of the kids in each of the categories from a single E-mail ID. However, the same kids cannot be voted for a second time from the same E-mail ID.  The voting by viewers of bellevision.com ends on November 10,  2012 and the results will be declared on November 14, 2012.

 

 

Following prizes will be awarded to the winners in each category:

1st Prize : Rs.20,000
2nd Prize: Rs.10,000
3rd Prize: Rs.5,000

 

There will be 10 consolation prizes. Besides, the kid receiving highest number of viewers’ votes will get an award of Rs.7500.
