Udupi: Moodubelle parishioner Clive Quadros elected as Prez of YCS

Udupi, 08 July 2014: Clive Johns Quadros of Moodubelle parish elected as president of Yuva Catholic Students Sanchalen (YCS) of Udupi diocesan central Committee for one-year term, while Jeenal Saldanha of Pamboor parish  elected secretary during the elections held at Bishop’s House hall, here on Sunday July 6.

 

Earlier to the elections of the YCS, training programmes were held to YCS members as well as animators at diocesan level.

 

Udupi diocese Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac inaugurated the training programme.

 

The resource persons Francis D’Cunha and Norbert Misquit, YCS national director Fr Charles Menezes, ICYM/YCS/YSS director Fr Edwin D’Souza and office bearers of YCS were present on the dais.

 

Fr Charles Menezes presided the valedictory function held on Sunday evening.

 

New Delhi diocesan and northern states YCS director Fr Chetan Machado was the chief guest of the occasion.

 

Fr Edwin D’Souza, Udupi diocese family welfare commission vice president Leslie Aroza, Karnataka YCS president Previta, president Elson D’Souza, secretary Shiny Castalino, YCS present and past office bearers were present at the dais.

 

Fr Charles Menezes and Fr Chetan Machado spoke on the occasion.
