Mangalore South Deanery YCS Day Yuva Denyam Thupem – 2013 Held at Ammebal Parish

Mangalore, 31 Dec 2013: The Mangalore south deanery YCS Day ‘Yuva Denyam Thupem – 2013 St Thomas the Apostle parish, Ammembal, here on Sunday December 29.
 
 
Mangalore diocesan YCS director Fr Edwin Correa presided the inaugural programme here on Sunday morning.
 
 
Ammembal parish priest Fr Valerian Frank, Ammembal vice president Gerald Sequeira, secretary Dora Rodrigues, YCS Karnataka regional president Frevita D’Souza and deanery YCS office bearers were the guests of honor present on the occasion.
 
 
All through the day various competitions like dance, singing, skit, memory test, pick and speak and quiz were held.  The slogan of the day was ‘6 hours...7 competitions... 8 parishes.’

 

 

 
 
The deanery vicar Fr Gregory D’Souza presided the valedictory function here on Sunday evening.
 
 
The deanery pastoral council secretary Felix D’Souza, the priests of various parishes of the deanery was the guests of honor.
 
 
The YCS unit of Our Lady of Mercy parish, Fajir bagged the championship.
 
 
Nearly 200 YCS members partaken in various competitions.
 
 
The deanery YCS director Fr Rupesh Madtha, assistant director Fr Rohan Lobo, deanery YCS animator Rickson Fernandes, deanery YCS president Loyal D’Souza of Fajir, the vice president Navanit D’Souza of Permannur, the secretary Melite of Eliyarpadav organized this event with the co-operation of different parishes of Mangalore south deanery.
