Mangalore: Chalipolilu, Tulu Movie with several Firsts to hit Stands during Sep 2014

Mangalore, 5 Jun 2014: Chalipolilu, Tulu movie is the first ever movie with much famed artistes Vijayakumar Kodialbail and Devdas Kapikad.  It’s the first Tulu movie shot by renowned Malayalam cameraman Utpal Nayanar.  With all these extra features, the movie has completed editing and in the process of dubbing.  The movie is expected to hit the stands by September 2014.
 

There are several reasons for the high expectation of Tulu movie lovers since its being produced by Prakash Pandeshwar under the banner Jayakirana Films.  It is the first ever movie produced under this banner; the highlights of movie indeed hiked the expectations of Tulu movie lovers.

 
Chalipolilu, Tulu movie will be the first in several aspects.  It’s first movie that has been produced with key artistes of famous theater troupes and other well known artistes.  It’s the first movie choreographed by Cool Jayant who has choreographed over 400 movies in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.  It will be the first Tulu comedy movie that got the ideas from Malayalam movie.  It’s the first ever movie acted together by the renowned Tulu theater artistes Vijayakumar Kodialbail and Devdas Kapikad.  It’s the first Tulu movie shot by Malayalam renowned cameraman Utpal Nayanar.

 

 
The movie has been shot using 2 cameras within 26 days which has one top stunt scene.  The set has been superficially erected to shot this scene at the leadership of Vinod Bangalore.  A group from Bangalore arrived for this shooting the stunt scene that has been captured superbly in the camera.

 
The younger director Veerendra Shetty is the playwright and director of this movie.  Devdas Kapikad and Vijayakumar Kodialbail and V Manohar composed the songs.  Among the songs, a few songs of Vijayakumar and Devdas are being played during musical concert.   It has become quite popular already.  There are a total of 5 songs in the movie, while it has been shot in Madikeri and in picturesque locations in and around Mangalore at Kavoor, Chelyarpadav near Suratkal and Sasihitlu.

 
The ace artistes Devdas, Arvind Bolar, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sundar Rai Mandara, Chetan Rai acted competitively in the move.  The TV serial actors Divya and Navya are the heroines; Devdas’s son Arjun has the role of guest actor.  Surendra Bantwal, Padmaja Rao, Laxman Kumar Mallur, Umesh Mijar, Raghavendra Rai, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, Shobha Rai, Sarojini Shetty, Timmappa Kulal, Umanat Kotian, Karnoor Mohan Rai, Girish Shetty Permude, Pradeep Alva Kadri, Sadashiv Das, Agnel, Panduranga, Mangesh Bhat, Ravi Suratkal, Dayanand Kulal, Suresh Kulal, Sumitra Rai, Rashmika, Vidhyasri, Karunakar Saripalla, Somu Jokatte and others are casts in the movie.  The movie does not conclude in just a few comedies, it would take two-and-a-hour of entertainment with a social message.  The movie has the evils of betting and astrology.

 
It’s significant that Jagannat Shetty Bala, the journalist, who has indepth knowledge of Tulu theater and movie is the co-producer of this movie.
