Mangalore: Chalipolilu, Tulu Movie CD set for release on Oct 8

Mangalore, 07 Oct 2014: Chalipolilu, Tulu movie CD is set for release at Mangalore press club, here on Wednesday October 8.  The movie has been produced by Prakash Pandeshwar under the banner Jayakirana Films.  It’s the first movie of Jayakirana Films.

 

Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman of Alvas Education Foundation®, Moodbidri will release CD of Chalipolilu, Tulu movie.

 

The CD has 6 songs.  Vijayakumar Kodialbail composed the song Chalipolilu and sung by Chintan Vikas. V Manohar composed song ‘O Maina’ sung by Ritisha Padmanabhan. Devdas composed song ‘Dabak Daba Aisa’ sung by Mohan.  V Manohar composed song ‘Mahamaye’ sung by Anuradha Bhat.  Veerendra Shetty Kavoor composed song ‘Madhu Shaleda Sele’ sung by Inchara Rao.  Veerendra Shetty composed song ‘Tonjandi Maye’ song by renowned singer Manikant Kadri.

 

 

Chalipolilu, Tulu movie that was set for innovations through comedies and to make its attempt to bring all the Tulu artistes for common good is ready for screening anytime from now.

 

The Tulu movie enthusiasts have greater expectation on Chalipolilu, that is produced by Prakash Pandeshwar under the banner Jayakirana Films has already completed first stage of shooting and ready for release. There are many reasons for this.  It’s the first ever film produced under the banner of Jayakirana Films, which has increased the expectation of movie-buffs because of several plus points.

 

Chalipolilu movie will create a history of sorts; chiefly it’s the first Tulu movie wherein the leading artistes of different theater groups were given a chance to act in this movie. It’s the first movie choreographed by Cool Jayant who has choreographed over 400 movies in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. It’s the first Tulu movie that is focused on comedy like the top quality Malayalam movies. It’s the first Tulu movie, wherein both stalwarts of Tulu theater Devdas Kapikad and Vijayakumar Kodialbail acted in the movie.  It’s the first Tulu movie shot by Malayalam movie’s noted cameraman Utpal Nayanar.

 

The first phase of shooting was completed using 2 cameras in 26 days which has one top adventure scene.  It was shot after a special preparation at the leadership of Vinod Bangalore.  In order to shoot this scene, a group of stuntmen arrived from Bangalore.  The scene was captured in the camera with all clarity. V Manohar provided the music, with playback singer Manikant Kadri.  Madhav Shetty Suratkal is the technical director of the movie.

 

The young director Veerendra Shetty Kavoor directed the movie with his own script and dialogues.  V Manohar, Devdas Kapikad and Vijayakumar Kodialbail also composed songs for this movie. The songs of Devdas Kapikad and Vijayakumar Kodialbail are already become popular in musical concerts already. The movie has a total of 6 songs, the scene of one song has been shot in Madikeri. The movie has been shot in Kavoor, Suratkal, Chelyarpadav, Sasihitlu that is in and around Mangalore city and picturesque places including Madikeri.

 

The veterans of Tulu theater groups – Devdas Kapikad, Naveen Padil and Bhojaraj Vamanjoor have clearly demonstrated their distinct acting talent in the movie. Devdas has proved as multi talented actor, composer, dancer, and stuntman. It’s indeed a great achievement for an individual.  Its because of Devdas, the movie-buffs have high expectations on Chalipolilu, Tulu movie. Devdas is supported by other casts Kuseldarase Naveen Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Arvind Bolar and Sundar Rai Mandara.  Both father and son Devdas and Arjun acted in this movie is another plus point.  Both have acted in their Tulu movie, Telikeda Bolli, while the movie-buffs have gotten a chance to see them together in Chalipolilu.

 

The movie casts comprises Devdas Kapikad, Arvind Bolar, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sundar Rai Mandara, Chetan Rai have made justice to their different roles.  The TV serial actors Divya and Navya are the heroines, while Devdas’s son Arjun shines as a guest actor. Surendra Bantwal is in the lead role. Padmaja Rao, Laxman Kumar Mallur, Umesh Mijar, Raghavendra Rai, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, Shobha Rai, Sarojini Shetty, Timmappa Kulal, Umanat Kotian, Karnoor Mohan Rai, Girish Shetty Permude, Pradeep Alva Kadri, Sadashiv Das, Agnel, Pandurang, Mangesh Bhat, Ravi Suratkal, Dayanand Kulal, Suresh Kulal, Sumitra Rai, Rashmika, Vidhyasri, Parvati, Karunakar Saripalla, Somu Jokatte and others are casts in the movie. Don’t arrive at the conclusion that it’s not a few hours of comedy movie.  It’s two-and-a-half-hours of movie, comedy and has a social message. It has mockery of betting and astrology. The movie that has several specialities will be ready to premier by this month for the delight of Tulu movie-lovers.
