Mangalore: Chalipolilu, much-awaited Tulu Comedy Movie completes shooting

Mangalore, 05 Apr 2014: Chalipolilu, the much awaited Tulu movie by Jayakirana Films completed its shooting at one go.

 

The comedy movie has several innovations; high quality 2 cameras were used simultaneously while shooting the movie. The versatile cameraman Utpal Nayanar who has worked in hundreds of movies in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu involved in this Tulu movie.

 

The renowned choreographer Cool Jayant who choreographed hundreds of movies in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada introduced the latest choreography in this Tulu movie.  Vinod has directed the stunt scenes.  Tulu cinema and theater artistes Vijayakumar Kodialbail and Devdas Kapikad composed top songs, while V Manohar and Veerendra Shetty Kavoor directed the music.  The movie has been shot in picturesque locations in Mangalore and Madikeri, while there are plans to premier the movie by Dasara.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chalipolilu is widely used in Tulu in the coastal district including Mangalore, for those who are mischievous youth and waste bodies that has become the theme of this movie.  Meanwhile, the movie has a message that such youth are truthful and humane.  It’s an attempt to show that they too also have jest for living. Kannada TV actors Divyasri and Navya are the heroines of the movie.

 

Devdas Kapikad, Navin D Padil, Arvind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor and Sundar Rai Mandara are the casts who are ready to entertain the cinema lovers.  Laxman Kumar Mallur, Padmaja Rao, Umanat Kotian, Shoba Rai, Raghavendra Rai, Chetan Rai, Vittal Mangesh Bhat, Karnoor Mohan Rai, Umesh Mijar, Pradeep Alva Kadri, Dayanand Kulal, Prasanna Bailoor, Sarojini Shetty, Sujata Shaktinagar, Sumitra Rai, Ravi Suratkal, Timmappa Kulal, Suresh Kulal, Agnel Rashmika, Vidhyasri, Somu Jogate are the other casts. Arjun Kapikad and Surendra Bantwal are the guest artistes.

 

Prakash Pandeshwar of Jayakirana Films, who was determined to produce a Tulu movie focusing on comedy, produced this movie.  Veerendra Shetty Kavoor directed the movie with assistant director Jagannat Shetty Bala.
