Puttur: St Philomena College honors 75 distinction holders of II PUC during reopening

Puttur, 03 Jun 2015: The inauguration of the New Academic year of the II PUC students of St Philomena PU College here was held on Monday June 1 morning.

 

The College correspondent Fr Alfred J Pinto, campus director Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, principal Fr Vijay Lobo inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp along with 4 students.

 

Fr Vijay Lobo analyzed the result of II PUC students 2014-2015 and briefed about the rules and regulations to the students and also the new facilities provided to the students.

 

 

Seventy-five distinction holders of the batch 2014-15 were honored during the programme.

 

A few distinction holders expressed their sincere gratitude towards the college.

 

Fr Antony Prakash Monteiro appreciated discipline of the students and insisted them to maintain the same till the end.

 

Fr Alfred J Pinto addressed the students regarding the importance of education.

 

Kritika Ithal and group rendered the prayer song. The political science lecturer Bharat Kumar welcomed the gathering. The lecturer of computer science Anil Kumar read out the list of distinction holders. The chemistry lecturer Ashwini K proposed vote of thanks. The chemistry lecturer Prashanth Bhat compered the programme.
