Mangaluru, 15 Mar 2015: Mortal remains of Prabha Arun Kumar, a techie who was stabbed to death in Sydney, will be cremated at her native in Bantwal on Monday, March 16.

The body was received by her family members at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru on Saturday, March 14. Her husband Arun Kumar and her brother Shankar Shetty had brought the body from Sydney.

"Her body will be kept at her relative’s place at Chandra Layout from 6 to 9 am on Sunday and later flown to Mangaluru for the last rites at her native village," Prabha Arun Kumar’s nephew Thrijesh Jayachandra told sources.

Prabha (41) was brutally stabbed to death in Australia, just 300 metres from her home, while on the phone talking to her husband, on March 7.

Police in Australia have said they are still searching for the killer and trying to establish a motive behind the "horrific attack".
