Kuwait: Kundapur Varado Welfare Association organizes annual get-together

Kuwait, 01 Feb 2015: Kundapur Varado Welfare Association (KVWA) here organized the annual get-together of their members and their families at Rajdhani Palace Restaurant, Khaitan here on Friday January 30.

The programme commenced with the opening prayer by Leena.  The compere for the get-together Rilson D’Souza did a commendable job in co-ordinating the sequence of events as laid out for the function.
 
KVWA president Donald Mendonca welcomed the gathering and thanked all the members for their support to KVWA over the years.  Donald emphasized on the importance of having more Committee members to work towards achieving the goals set by KVWA.

KVWA vice president Christopher Dias presented the annual report that highlighted the milestones achieved by over the years by KVWA since its inception. Sudhi Fronteiro and group (Ballerines) provided lively, foot-tapping music that entertained the guests and set them rocking the dance floor. The Ballerines group dance artistes performed on various dance sequences that enthralled the guests with their scintillating dance moves and amazing choreography. The guests were mesmerized by the solo numbers presented by Gulf Voice of Mangalore finalist Roshan Olivera.
 
It was never a moment devoid of entertainment, with the guests being kept well entertained with children’s games and spot prizes both for kids and adults.
 
The guests relished the sumptuous buffet lunch laid out by Rajdhani Palace Restaurant. Lunch was then followed by a game of housie with wonderful gifts given out as prizes to the winners.
 
Alwyn Mendonca thanked the gathering. KVWA get-together concluded with a sincere thought of gratitude towards the combined efforts of all the Committee members towards making this event memorable and wonderful for all.
