Udupi: Kaup Independent Candidate Yogish Acharya aims at Equality in Governance

Udupi, 26 Apr 2013: At the backdrop of both national and regional parties are competing in wooing the voters in the upcoming assembly elections, the poll outcome will likely to get affected by independent candidates from minority communities. 

 


Alevoor Yogish Acharya, an independent candidate with the background of Vishwakarma community has been aggressively campaigning in Udupi legislative constituency.


Vishwakarma community was disregarded by national parties in the past, while Yogish Acharya is campaigning to seek minority votes from different communities in the society. 


Yogish has set the manifesto to resolve common issues of Udupi town, clear the confusion over plastic use, to strive for equality in society, to promote age-old profession, political empowerment of minority community.
