Bangalore: 12-year-old girl commits suicide

Bangalore, 14 September 2011: Reportedly dejected after her father questioned her about her poor academic performance, a 12-year-old student allegedly committed suicide by hanging inside her residence in KG Nagar police limits on Monday. 

 

B Jayashree, the deceased, was a resident of Keshavashilpa Block. Probe revealed that Jayashree often used to talk about hanging and used to express her eagerness at trying it. 

 

In the second incident, a 22-year-old housewife committed suicide and left a death note accusing her husband of dowry harassment. P Lavanya, resident of Pai Layout, was married to Puneeth around two years back, police said. 

 

In the third case, reported from Malleswaram, a 38-year-old accountant was found hanging inside his residence on Monday. The deceased is Krishnamurthy. According to police, he was depressed after doctors discovered that he has a heart problem and diabetes.
