B’lore : BASE felicitates toppers at Grand Slam 2014

B’lore, Jul 21, 2014 : Riding on its success in the national and State-level entrance examinations, BASE, the Bangalore based, premier training organisation providing quality training for competitive examinations gave a fitting felicitation to all its achievers from across the State at Grand Slam 2014 held today at The Good Shepherd auditorium, Residency Road. Grand Slam is an annual event to celebrate and felicitate winners@BASE for their success in today’s highly competitive scenario and to encourage them for further success in their careers. The students were awarded for their exceptional performance in various competitive exams such as JEE (Main & Advanced), CET, AIIMS, JIPMER, NEET, KVPY, NTSE, Olympiads & various other examinations.

 

The student toppers from the program TAPAS, a free residential program initiated by Rashtrotthana Parishat and BASE for students belonging to the economically challenged sections of the society such as children of daily wage earners, cobbler, auto driver, house maid etc were also given a grand felicitation at the event.

 

 

The Chief Guests for the event were Dr S. N. Omkar, Chief Research Scientist, Dept of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore & Sri P. S. Ravindranath, Director, Quality Engineering. V M Ware India Ltd, Bangalore who congratulated students for their success & motivated them by sharing word of wisdom, self confidence and how it will help them in their career going ahead. They further guided the students about not being over excited for their present results and keeping the momentum of success intact as this is only first step of their career.

 

Dr H S Nagaraja, Founder Director, BASE addressed the proud parents and students and boosted the confidence of toppers with motivational speech. They have been a constant inspiration for us to reach greater heights in the field of education. “We are happy that we were able to bring out the best in these students and guided them appropriately to achieve their goals. Sustained efforts, clarity of thought and a focused approach can help anybody accomplish excellence. This event is an acknowledgement of their success, hard work, determination and commitment”, he added.
