Mumbai: Adventurous Thane Boys & Girls swim from Uran to Gateway of India

Mumbai, 26 Apr 2014: Yash Sonak, Shubham Pawar, Pruthviraj Kamble, Sakshi Patil and Manjiree More, both boys and girls students of central suburb of Thane here on Friday April 25, successfully completed swimming from Mora Jetty - Uran to Gateway of India, a distance of 16 kilometers.
The participants in the individual event are Yash Sonak, Class VI student of Lokapuram Public School, Thane, covered the distance 2 hours and 44 minutes.
Shubham Pawar, Class IX student of Shrirang Vidyalaya (English Medium) Thane, covered the distance in 2 hours and 49 minutes.
Pruthviraj Kamble, Class VII student of Shri Mavli Mandal High School, Thane covered the distance in 3 hours and 01 minute.
Sakshi Patil, Class VII student of Saraswati Vidaylaya, Rabodi, Thane, covered the distance in 3 hours and 13 minutes.
Manjiree More, Class VI student of St Xavier’s High School, Airoli, covered the distance in 3 hours and 15 minutes.
