Kuwait: Open Football Tourney in Memory of Late Sheikha Huda Bader Mohd Al Ahmed Al-Sabhah on Oct 16

Kuwait, Oct, 08, 2013 : After conducting the Open Tournament successfully for the last 2 Years, Real Betalbatim Football Club is all geared up once again for the third edition, scheduled at Al-Sabah Grounds, Shuwaikh, here.

 

 

The Tournament is being organized in fond memory of Late Sheikha Huda Bader Mohamed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, and is a much awaited feature in the Expatriate Football circuits in Kuwait and Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) countries.

 

Last year a total of 24 teams participated in the Football Extravaganza and once again it was a Dubai based team, Siolim United who took flight with the prestigious trophy to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to add to their collection.

 

Among others who shone during the tournament were Vanxim Divar and Aldona United from Dubai and Goa Maroons and Veterans United from Kuwait.

 

This year the organizers expect around 24 Teams to participate in this prestigious Tournament and a stiff competition is awaited between Dubai and Kuwait Teams. Teams vying for the glittering Trophy and valuable prizes this year will include the Champions of last year Siolim United, strong contenders Aldona United and new outfits Emirates Goan (EGSCC) and F C Bardez from Dubai and around 20 renowned Teams from Kuwait - Santos United, A VC, Goa Maroons, Real Betalbatim, Don Bosco, DHL F C, Veterans United, United Friends, Fahaheel Brothers  and Kuwait Goans Association (KGA) among other teams. 

 

Real Betalbatim F C looks forward for a large holiday crowd that is expected to witness this prestigious Tournament which is held during the Eid Al-Adha Holidays.

 

Further, to add spice to the Tournament 2 Exhibition Matches will be held for the first time in the history of Kuwait, one for the ladies and other for children (boys).

 

Lots of Prizes and Surprises are awaited to be won by the players and spectators alike. Kuwait Teams Entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis, as limited slots are available.
