I agree with Martis. These days all churches are commerical rather than place of worship. You might have recently seen in Germany the Bishop was asked to leave church for posh buidling spending money beyond the budget.Soon you may notice malls coming up in the church premises if public do not object such demolishing of Grotto.
Dear Denis and Belle Parishioner, I can understand ur feelings but some tough decisions are needed to survive. Couple of years ago oue the then governing council took a stupid decision to seel the church land to the residents and no one was opposed that.!!!!!!!!. Now there is nothing left to construct a busstand or something like that. People constructed their shops on the road. If a truck parked in front of any shop, it blocks the traffic of the entire locality. I don t want to hurt your feelings, but I want to say you guys that the Belle church is neither the first one nor the last one to demolish the monuments like GROTTO.
There was a place we gathered our childhood for rosary in may October, offering flowers to mother Mary august 30 to September 8, that place is called as mother marry s GROTTO. now grotto demolished, build a building for Karnataka bank.that building located in front of our beautiful church, church beauty hide by Karnataka bank. before 2013 our location was near, behind or opp. BELLE CHURCH after 2013 our church location is BEHIND KARNATAKA BANK. belle parishioners please wake up,in future don’t demolish our church for build a shopping mall `
