Mangaluru: Much-awaited Tulu movie, Soda Sharbat premiered across Karnataka

Mangaluru, 03 Jan 2022: Soda Sharbat, Tulu movie produced under the banner PBP Films premiered in theaters across Karnataka on Saturday, January 1.

 

Swami Esha Vittaldas of Kemar mutt switched on the projector to premier at Big Cinemas at Bharat Mall, here on Saturday.

 

Soda Sharbat, Tulu movie executive producer Melvyn, director Pradeep Barboza Paladka, other Tulu movie producer Prakash Pandeshwar, Walter Nandalike of Daijiworld and others were present.

 

 

The lead actors Harshit Bangera and Ranjita Lewis were cast in the Tulu movie, Soda Sharbat.

 

The actors including veterans Devdas Kapikad, Arvind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Umesh Mijar, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, Deepak Rai Panaje, Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, Mellu Valencia, Lavina Fernandes and Godwin Moodubelle were cast in the movie.

 

Pradeep Barboza Paladka who had directed Konkani movie, Ek Aslyar, Ek Na is the cinematographer and director of Tulu movie, Soda Sharbat.  Ganesh Nirchal who had contributed dialogues to sandalwood movies, Kanasu Maratakkide, Katpady Kattappa and other movies has also provided the dialogues for the Tulu movie, Soda Sharbat.

 

Patson Pereira Mangaluru is the music director with playback singers Tyagaraj and Neetu Ninad.

 

Indian Idol – 2021 runner up Nihal Tauro, Devdas Kapikad and Bhojaraj Vamanjoor sang 2 songs for this Tulu movie.

 

Umesh Mijar and Abhishek Shetty contributed the script.

 

The movie was shot in and around Moodbidri.

 

The movie has the storyline how a debtor survives after he was found in a vicious circle of debts. There is also love and empathy depicted in the movie that is ideal for family viewing.
