Karkala: Ugadi celebrated with fervor at Durgaparameshwari Friends Club® Nandalike

Karkala, 08 Apr: At the joint aegis of union ministry of youth services and sports, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Udupi, Durgaparameshwari Friends Club® Nandalike and Kannada Sahitya Parishat – Belman, Yugadi was celebrated at the auditorium of Club, near here on Sunday, April 7.

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Kannada Sahitya Parishat – Belman president Sandeep V Poojary Abbanadka said that Uugadi with neem and jaggery has significance to take sufferings and happiness equally. It’s part of life.

 

The Club president Rajesh Kotian inaugurated and presided the programme.

 

The Club past president Kasrabail Suresh Poojary, Ganeshotsav Committee president Abbanadka Satish Poojary, secretary Prashant Poojary, treasurer Abbanadka Hariprasad Acharya, women wing secretary Sandhya Shetty, Pushpa Kulal, Sunita Pinto and others were present.
