Puttur: St Philomena College bids adieu to Lab Assistant Cyril Moras

Puttur, 20 April 2016: A farewell function was organized by the department of physics of St Philomena College here to honor retiring lab assistant Cyril Moras at College auditorium on April 18.

 

The correspondent of the College Fr Alfred J Pinto delivered the farewell address in which he praised the selfless and dedicated service of Cyril Moras for 43 years as lab assistant. Moras was felicitated with shawl, garland, fruits, memento, etc by the correspondent.

 

 

Former chairman, department of physics of Mangalore University Professor Prakash P Karat participated as the chief guest of the occasion.

 

The principal Professor Leo Noronha, former head of department of physics Professor Suresh Rao N, campus director Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro and the principal of St Philomena PU College Fr Vijay Lobo were the guests of honor.

 

Professor Revathi welcomed the gathering. The head of department of physics Dr A P Radhakrishna introduced Cyril Moras. Professor Maithili proposed the vote of thanks. Ananya compered the programme.
