Bantwal: Chandana TV to telecast Papada Piravu, Tulu serial on Saturdays from 8.00pm to 8.30pm from

Bantwal, 16 Oct 2014: Papada Piravu, Tulu TV serial produced under the banner Bolpu Creations of Manchi Bolpu theater group, will be telecasted by state-owned Chandana TV channel on every Saturday from 8.00pm to 8.30pm from Saturday October 28, said district Rajyotsav Award recipient litterateur and Papada Piravu, Tulu TV serial director Koragappa Shingarakodi.

Addressing the media persons during the conference here on Wednesday October 15, Koragappa said the shooting of 10 episodes are already completed, while the shootings will be held in Perne, Noojibail, Manchi, Kokala and nearby areas in the next stage, added Koragappa.’

 

 
The TV serial has incorporated the rich traditional practices of erstwhile Tulunadu, the agrarian families and struggle for social justice.  The communal harmony thrived five decades ago in the coastal district during the oppression of landlords, among the illiterate masses and humanity that thrived among people of different faith, caste and creed, added Koragappa.

The rural talented artistes Ashok Shetty Sarapady, Devdas Adapa Ira, Pushparaj Kukkaje, Padmanabha Salian, Rajesh Balike, Kadaba Dinesh Rai, Victor Pais, Yashoda B Shetty, Pratima G Anchan, Anand, Uday Kumar Laila, Jayant Nerambolu, Mohandas Kottari, Sunil Jarandagudde, Vijay Maripalla, Meenakshi Kadeshwalya, Sasidar K Vasappa, Vishwanat Kalladka, Nonayya, Honnayya Amin, Shivashankar Manchi, Narayan Perne, Yadhav Kuriyadi, Prajwal and Harshita are cast in the movie, informed Bolpu Creations president Ashok.

Bolpu Creations secretary Padmanabha Salian, Mahadeva Bank chairman Devdas Adapa, Rajesh Alva Balike, Narayan Perne, Sasidar, Chandrashekar B and others were present at the media conference.
