Mangalore: A J Institute of Medical Sciences bags inter-collegiate football trophy

Mangalore, 10 Oct 2014: A J Institute of Medical Sciences organized Rajiv Gandhi University Mysore zone inter-collegiate football tournament at A J grounds, Kuntikana, here from October 6 to October 8.

 
A total of 18 teams participated in the tourney. The semi final match was held between AJIMS and Mysore Medical College. AJIMS won by 5-0 goal. Another semi final match was held between Father Muller Medical College and Adichunchanagiri Medical College, Father Muller College won by penalty 1-0.

 

 
The final match was played between AJIMS and Father Muller Medical College. AJIMS won the tournament by 2-0.

 
A J Institute of Medical Sciences vice president Prashanth Shetty and dean Dr M Ramesh Pai distributed the trophies to the winners.
