Bantwal: Young girl drowns in water-pond at Sajipa Mooda

Bantwal, 27 Nov 2021: A young girl was drowned when she accidentally slipped and fell on a water-pond, near her house located at the limits of Sajipa Mooda, here on Thursday, November 25.

 

The unfortunate was twenty-four-year-old Rashmita, daughter of Lingappa Moolya, living at Karaje, at the limits of Sajipa Mooda gram panchayat, near here.

 

Rashmita had gone to fetch flowers to offer to the deity at home, whilst she was plucking the flowers on the edge of a water-pond, she slipped and fell on the water and drowned.

 

Bantwal town police registered a case in this regard.
