Bangalore: Agniputra bags Denz Foundation All India Under - 14 Trophy, Kodagu Academy runner up

Bangalore, 29 Jul 2014: The All India under – 14 football tournament that was organized by metro-based Denz Foundation in association with KSFA and BDFA was concluded at Bangalore football stadium, here on Sunday July 27.
Agniputra team from Bangalore bagged first Denz Foundation All India under – 14 trophy, and cash award of Rs 40,000.
Kodagu Academy bagged the second place and cash award of Rs 33,000.
Sept Calicut bagged the third place and cash award of Rs 20,000.
Crescent Football Academy – Calicut bagged the fourth place and cash award of Rs 10,000.
Kodagu Academy players Ramesh and Tanveer were adjudged as most valuable player and best defender. Crescent – Calicut player Srilosh adjudged as best defender. Sept – Calicut player Akilesh Raj adjudged as best goal keeper. Agnipura player Rahul adjudged as best forward. Crescent – Calicut bagged fair play trophy. Kovalam player Arjun Krishna adjudged most promising player.
BDFA secretary S T Bhoopal distributed the trophies and cash prizes to the winners on the occasion.
Sixty-four teams from across India participated in the tournament that was the brainchild of Denzel Fernandes, chairman of Denz Foundation.
