Holy Quran Recitation Open Competition by ISC Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, Jul 17, 2014 : The India Social & Cultural Centre (ISC) has been in existence in Abu Dhabi since 1967. Today it stands as an iconic symbol of the pride and prestige of the whole Indian Community in the entire UAE. Apart from undertaking community projects, the Centre with its State-of- The-Art facilities is well equipped to cater to the Sports, Socio / Cultural needs of over 6000 family members. The Centre also works as an effective platform in bridging the Indo / Arab cultural link and fostering the age old relationship between the two Nations. 

 

In Commemoration of Late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Father of the Nation, We are conducting Holy Quran Recitation Open Competition in association with Ministry of AWQAF.

 

 

This is the first of its kind in ISC which is reaching the Golden Jubilee year of its formation. The patron of the organizing Committee is Captain Mohammed Yusef Al Khouri, The event is coordinated by Mr. Rafeek P. Kayanayil (Hon. Treasurer of ISC) and organized by Mr. Abdulla Ahmed Al Zaabi,Mr. Abdul Naser Mohamed Yousef Al Sehli, Mr. Mohamed Mohasseen,Mr. Bava Haji, Hon. President, IIC  and  The Managing Committee Members of ISC 

 

The competition will be held from 19th to 22nd of July after the Tharawih prayer from 10.30 pm.

 

This event is open to all Nationalities and the entry to attend is free. ISC  expects  good  attendance  for the  event and has  made  arrangements to  accommodate the same.

 

Prayer   facilities have been   arranged in ISC. Bus pick up and drop off arrangements are done from Indian Islamic Centre, General Post   Office (Madinat Zayed) and Mussafah.

 

The Competition   is held in categories as follows.

 

Level I -  ( Age Group  shall be ( Age 7-10 :Quran reading juz up to 5 )

Level II - (Age 10-12 Quran reading juz up to 10 )

Level III - (Age 12-18 Quran reading juz  up to 20 )

Level IV - (Without Age limit- Hafiz Ul Quran)

 

The winners in each category will receive Mementos and Cash Award. The event  is supported   by  most  of  the  Indian and Local business community  and  is receiving good  feedback from  the Members  of ISC and the Indian Community.
