Udupi: Jnanaganga PU College, Nellikatte welcomes I PUC new students

Udupi, 9 Jun 2014: Jnanaganga Pre-University College, Nellikatte, near Moodubelle, here welcomed the students of I PUC and their parents on Thursday June 5.

 
Lions Club International governor Suresh Prabhu and Udupi Lions Club president Alevoor Harish Kini were the chief guests of the occasion.

 
Suresh Prabhu inaugurated the programme by un-wrapping some new books.

 

 
Suresh in his message highlighted the importance of education and also narrated an anecdote carrying the moral of the need of prioritising in student life.

 
Alevoor Harish Kini enlightened the gathering about the need of co-ordination by the teacher, the students and their parents which would result in giving a bright future to the students.

 
The students who passed II PUC with distinctions were felicitated on the same occasion.
