Dubai: ’ Maa Creation’ to present an unique konkani show ’Konkani Sobhann’

Dubai, Jun 7, 2014 :  “ Maa Creation” a well known konkani organization of  in Dubai which supports konkani literature, songs and poems of great konkani authors will be presenting an unique konkani dream project titled: “Konkani Sobhann on 13th June 2014”.  The dream of konkani lovers will be realized at the Bangalor Empire hall from 10:30am and will last until 4:30pm which will , provide konkani literature, music, poetry and novels .  

 

The grand event will be inaugurated by famous konkani literary personality and winner of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy Dr. Edward Nazareth from Mangalore and accompanied by Walter D’Souza, (editor-in-chief-Daijiworld), Ramachandra Hegde (Director Spraytech Conracting LLC), Satis Venkataramana (MD Chilly Willy Trading Co. LLC) and Melwyn D’Cunha (Former President MCC Bank Mangalore).

The whole day program consists in four sessions i.e. Literary session, Language session, Poetry session and Songs & Entertainment session.  A few well known konkani personalities in the above fields are expected to take part in this whole day konkani extravaganza.

 

The grand concluding ceremony will be presided over by Dr. Edward Nazareth which will be attended prominent personalities of U.A.E. namely; Joseph Mathias (Merit Freight Systems Co. LLC), Dian D’Souza (Founder President – Dhaiji Dubai), Frank Fernandes (Mosaco Shipping & Forwarding LLC), Mark Denis D’Souza (Fortuna Engineering and Energy Services LLC) and Walter D’Souza (Dhaijiworld) and Abdul Rehman (Businessman Bhatkal).

 

Special attraction of the event will be Gumta Songs presented by Wilson Pinto and group from Abu Dhabi and golden numbers of yester years will be rendered by a few famous singers from UAE namely: Dony Correa, Asha Correa, Preema D’Souza and Godwin D’Souza and music will be provided by Arun Carlo and team Dubai. Dekhni by Rapael Rodrigues and Savio Fernandes Goa.

 

Bhashe Soban will be presented by Sannu Monis, Sudharshan Hegde, Wilson Pinto, Preema D’Souza.

 

Kavya Soban will be recited by prominent poets namely: Robert Fernandes, Syed Abu Backer, Harish Shenoy, Gavin Rebello, Stany Bela, Arthur Pereira and Puis James.
