Udupi: Late PM Rajeev Gandhi Remembered

Udupi, 21 May 2014: The late PM Rajeev Gandhi contributed immensely for the nation by granting voting rights to youngsters above the age of 18 years and laying emphasis on information technology. The efforts of bringing women to the main stream of society by women empowerment are yielding fruits now, said KPCC secretary M A Gafoor.
Gafoor was speaking after garlanding the portrait of the late PM Rajeev Gandhi on his death anniversary held at DCC office, here on Tuesday May 21.
MLA Pramod Madwaraj, Congress party leaders B Narasimhamurti, Prakash Kodavoor, Murali Shetty, Ignatius D’Souza, Dinesh Putran, Kushala Shetty, umesh Naik, Sasidar Shetty Yelloor, Amrut Shenoy, Prakyat Shetty, Kirti Shetty, Janardhan Bhandarkar, Ganesh Raj Saralebettu, Yatish Karkera, Upendra Mendon, Abdul Rehman, Habib Ali, A J Kadabettu, Shantaram Salwankar, Shekar Kodankoor, Ramdas Nayak, Manoj Karkera, Sadanand Poojary Parkala, Sadashiv Kotian Kodankoor, Subash Kola, Jitesh kumar, Vincent Fernandes, Padmanabha Sujaya, Ganapati Shettigar, Bhaskar Rao Kidiyoor and others were present on the occasion.
