Qatar: Karnataka Sangha Qatar to organize ’Children Talent Search 2014’

Doha/Qatar, 08 May 2014: Karnataka Sangh Qatar (KSQ) will be organizing Children Talent Search - 2014, a much-awaited event for children hailing from the State of Karnataka, here on Friday May 23, Friday May 30 and Friday June 6.

 

Categories

1) Children Class I and below: a) Coloring, b) Fancy dress c) Dancing (cinematic)

2) Sub junior category: children between Class II and Class IV: a) Drawing b) Dancing (cinematic) c)Fashion show

3) Junior category: children between Class V to Vlass VIII: a) Drawing b) Singing (cinematic) c) Dancing (cinematic) d) Elocution (speech contest) e) Fashion show

4) Senior category: students between Class VIII to Class X: a) Drawing b) Singing (cinematic) c) Elocution (speech contest) d) Dancing (cinematic) e) Fashion

 

Team quiz (2 per team): Top 6 will make it to the finals. Children from different categories can form a team.

 

KSQ children indoor sports – for all categories

a)    Carom (singles and doubles) b) Table tennis (singles and doubles) c) chess

 

Venue and timings

 

1)    Painting / coloring and team quiz qualifier competition: at Al Maha Boys Academy, on Friday May 23 between 7.30am to 11.30am.

2)    Indoor sports at Al Jazeera Academy on Friday May 30 between 7:45am to 11:30am.

3)    Dancing/fancy dress/singing/elocution/fashion show at Al Maha Boys Academy on Friday May 30 between 3.30pm to 9:30pm.

4)    Verbal quiz, prize distribution ceremony will be held at Al Maha Academy on Friday June 6 between 3:30pm to 9:00pm.

 

NOTE:

·  Entry fee per category: QR 20

·  Last date for registration: May 18

·  Spot registration not allowed.

·  Rules and regulations of all competitions are sent separately.

·  Carom, table tennis, chess competition on each category will be conducted based on the number of registration.

·  Its strictly for children hailing from the State of Karnataka.

·  If there are less than 3 entries in any event, then respective event gets cancelled.
