M’lore: Gandhi Banda, Kannada Play echoes casteism during Pre-Independence Era in Coastal Dist

Mangalore, 26 Apr 2014: Bangalore-based theater troupe – Rangamantapa staged Kannada play, Gandhi Banda (Gandhi arrived) that based on the novel authored by Dr S Nagaveni at A B Shetty auditorium of Bunts Hostel, here on Saturday April 26.  It was organized by Bantara Yane Nadavara Matra Sangha ® Mangalore taluk Committee.

 

The novelist Dr Nagaveni was felicitated on the same occasion.

 

 

The convener Jayaram Santa, Vijayakumar Kodialbail, Champa Shetty, Umesh Rai and Ravindra Poojary were present.
