Dubai: Nama Tuluveru to host ’Tuluvere Parba’ on November 28

Dubai, 22 Apr 2014: Nama Tuluveru UAE, a charity-based organisation which has successfully completed five years of existence supporting Tulu language and culture in this part of the world, will host ’Tuluvere Parba 2014’, a day-long cultural event in a grand manner on November 28 this year, along with various community organisations.

 

 

This was decided in a meeting conducted recently under the leadership of Sudhakar Alva who is the main convener of Nama Tuluveru this year. Many dignitaries and well-known leaders from different communities will arrive all the way from Mangalore as guests to grace this occasion.

 

Apart from being a charity-based organization, Nama Tuluveru UAE has been identifying new drama troupes from Tulunadu time and again and introducing them to the Tuluvas in UAE. Tuluvas in UAE will always remember one of the most classical presentation of ’Tuluvere Parba 2012’ conducted in conjunction with various community organizations which proved to be a most delightful extravaganza and charity event ever presented with many firsts to its record.

During the meeting, Sudhakar Alva invited all the members who gathered in large numbers to decide the programmes for the year 2014.  ’Tuluvere Parba 2014’ was the main programme which was unanimously decided by all the members who came in large numbers and gave full support with some great ideas to make it perfect this year too.

 

Iftar programme will be another programme of Nama Tuluveru UAE during Ramadan and like last year, this year too it will be held in a labour camp in Dubai.

 

Blood donation campaign and community cricket tournament will also be part of the activities of Nama Tuluveru this year, the dates of which will be announced shortly.
