Mumbai: Latika J Amin crowned Miss Billawa in Billawa Yuvotsav, Deeksha & Sameeksha Runners up

Mumbai, Apr 14, 2014 : Latika J Amin, was crowned Miss Billawa and Deeksha Kotian was the first runner up and Sameeksha Kotian was the second runner up in Miss Billawa pageant competitions held during ‘Billawa Yuvotsav’ held at Dr Vishveshwarayya auditorium of Karnataka Sangh Mumbai ® Mahim (West) here on  Sunday April 13.  It was organized by youth wing of Billawa Jagruti Balaga, one among the premier community Association in the metro.
 
Billawa Jagruti Balaga president N T Poojary presided the programme here on Sunday morning.

N T Poojary inaugurated offered motion for the programme by placing new shoot of coconut in the traditional rice measure.
 
Billawa Jagruti Balaga honorary president Suresh S Poojary, honorary chief secretary Keshav K Kotian, vice presidents D B Amin and Purushottam S Kotian, treasurer Padmanabha Poojary, women wing president Sharada S Karkera, former vice president K Bhojaraj, ‘Gurutu’ monthly bulletin honorary editor Babu Shiva Poojary were present at the dais.

 

 

The entrepreneur Devdas N Suvarna was the chief guest during valedictory function held on Sunday evening.
 
The social activist entrepreneur Suresh Shetty Bellary and Bantara Sangha Mumbai ®  joint secretary Ultoor Mohandas Shetty and others were the guests of honor distributed the prizes to the winners of various competitions.
 
Girija Chandrashekar and Yashoda N Poojary rendered the prayers.  The youth wing president Mahendra S Karkera welcomed the gathering.  Shravya N Suvarna and Shifra N Suvarna presented the welcome dance.  The secretary J M Kotian, Keshav K kotian and Harish G Poojary compered the programme.  Joint secretary Chitrapu K M Kotian proposed vote of thanks.
