Udupi: K Vasudev Acharya Memorial Theater Camp Inaugurated at Bantakal

Udupi, 7 Apr 2014 : The students have several inherent talents that come to the fore, when they get an opportunity to exhibit their talent during theater camp. If the talented get due support they would emerge excellent artistes, said N Radhakrishna Prabhu, headmaster of Durgaparameshwari temple, Bantakal.
Prabhu was speaking after inaugurating the late Kasargod Vasudev Acharya memorial theater camp at Bantakal school auditorium near here on Sunday April 6.
Prabhu expressed gratitude to the organizers of camp, for acknowledging his mentor and lecturer the late K Vasudev Acharya, at Hindu Pre-University College, Shirva.
The camp organizer and senior educationist Sooda Sadanand Shenoy presided the programme.
Bantakal temple governing council president Sasidar Wagle, Sooda High School headmaster Ritesh Shetty, Belman – St Joseph’s School teacher B Pundalika Marate Shirva, Sahachintana – Mangalore honorary editor B A Acharya Manipal, memorial Committee honorary advisor Sacchidanand Acharya Shirva lauded the late teacher K Vasudev Acharya and his theater performance.
Radhakrishna Prabhu and Pundalika Marate felicitated award winner camp director Ramesh Bantakal on the same occasion.
Vishveshwar Parkala, Vasu Achar, Murahari Kasargod, Gopi Hirebettu, Ramachandra Acharya, Chandrashekar, Padmanabha Nayak Moodubelle, Veena, Sadashiv Achar, Pramila Achar, Dayanand Shetty were present.
Ramesh Bantakal welcomed the gathering. Shekar Kotian Brahmavar proposed vote of thanks. Madhav Acharya Heroor compered the programme.
