Mangalore: Awareness Camp on Voter’s Right held in Kinnigoli

Mangalore, 22 Mar 2014: At the joint aegis of Dakshina Kannada district administration, women and child welfare department, child development project of Mangalore rural, an awareness camp on voting rights was held at Yugapurusha auditorium, Kinnigoli, near here recently.


The women and child welfare department deputy director Gertrude Veigas, women development department officer Usman, child development project officer Shyamala C K, Kishori, Kalpana and others were present on the occasion.

 


Usman explained the significance of voting right and administered oath to the gathered.

The advocate Akshata Adarsh was also present.

Over 100 women members of Stree Shakti self-help-groups participated in the camp.
