Udupi: Newly-Developed St John’s Children Park inaugurated at Pangala

Udupi, 16 Mar 2014: The newly-built St John’s children’s park at Pangala, near here was inaugurated on Saturday March 15 morning.
 
 
Katpady gram panchayat president Vinay Ballal inaugurated the park on the occasion.
 
 
Ballal appreciated the discipline at the education institution and relentless service of correspondent.
 
 
All the donors, parents and their children of St John’s educational institutions participated in the programme.  
 
 
Pangala parish priest and St John’s education institutions correspondent Fr Leslie C D’Souza felicitated the donors who contributed their mite in developing the children’s park.

 

 
 
PTA president K R Patkar, St John Pre-University College principal Fr Vincent Coelho, St John’s High School head teacher Clara Mendonca, St John Academy principal Ida Cornelio, St John’s Higher Primary School head techer Ezmy Lobo, children’s nursery teacher Yamuna were present on the occasion.
 
 
St John’s parish council vice president Mark Vaz welcomed the gathering.  The secretary Simmy D’Souza proposed vote of thanks
 
 
The children were served with sweets and soft drinks.  Small children were allowed to play in the park.
