Udupi, 15 Mar 2014: The mystery shrouding the disappearance of Naveen aged five years, son of the Tamilian parents Nagaraj and Asha from Pamboor who was reported missing since February 23 seems to have been solved with the arrest of a youth aged 16 years. Following the investigations by the police it is believed that Naveen has been murdered by the youth on the basis of the skeletal remains that were discovered on March 9 on an isolated hillock near the Dharmashree Colony where the Tamilian couple lived.
The arrested youth is also a resident of Pamboor and hails from Tamilnadu. It is alleged that the youth lured Naveen to an isolated area and indulged in unnatural sexual act with the boy. Having threatened the youth that he would report the matter to his parents, the youth got panicky and strangulated Naveen killing him and dumped his body in the cluster of bushes and returned home.
With the arrest of the youth, it seems that the mystery of the disappearance and murder of the toddler Naveen (5) has been solved.
