Mangalore: AIKWO to organize Konkani Literary Conference at Kalaangann on Mar 16

Mangalore, Mar 8, 2014 : All India Konkani Writers’ Organization (AIKWO) will be organizing Karnataka Konkani Literary Conference at Kalaangann, here on Sunday March 16.

 
Bangalore – Christ University registrar Dr Anil Pinto will present paper on Harnessing the possibilities of the internet, here on Sunday at 10.00am.

 
The columnist Vasant Shetty will present paper on Fighting globalization and strengthening one’s roots.

 
Gulab, monthly editor  Fausto Da Costa will present paper on Konkani literature in Roman script.

 
Benedicta Menezes will interview eminent writer Jess Fernandes in the afternoon session.

 
The poet Naveen Pereira Suratkal will moderate the youth poets’ Sammelan.

 
Kalakul theater repertory will present a street play ‘Bodlawonn?’ (Change)

 
The Literary Conference will conclude with AIKWO executive Committee meeting on Sunday at 4.30pm.
