Mumbai: CM dedicates the Sahar Elevated flyover to the nation

Mumbai, 13 Feb 2014: The Sahar Elevated Flyover was inaugurated by Honorable Chief Minister Shri Prithviraj ji Chavan and along with Honorable Dy. Chief Minister Shri Ajit dada Pawar.

 

Others present were Ministers Suresh Shetty, Naseem Khan, Uday Samant, Mayor Sunil Prabhoo, Chief Secretary G. S. Saharia and MMRDA Commissioner UPS Madan.

 
MLA Krishna Hegde said that 30 to 40 acres should be carved out of the Airport Non Aeronautical Area and people should be rehabilitated there.

 

Ghar ke badle Ghar. Airport ke zameen par hi Ghar... stressed Hegde.

 

He also said that 70% of the problem would be solved if the structures till 1-1-2000 but purchased after 1-1-2000 will be made eligible by charging a transfer fee.

 
Hegde said that many voters do not have a photo ID or their names are missing from the Voters List so these 2 conditions should not be but proofs like electricity bill and water bill should be 2 amongst the 12 proofs to ascertain people’s eligibility.

 

 

 
Hegde also mentioned that 750 houses have been shifted for the Sahar elevated flyover and 250 houses through ineligible have been given alternate housing.

 
Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Ajit dada Pawar commended the efforts put in by local MLA Krishna Hegde to rehabilitate the people and complete the enormous project.

 
Honorable Chief Minister dedicated the Sahar elevated flyover to the Nation and said that enormous development and infrastructure works like Metro Rail, Mono Rail, Milan Subway Flyover ect. have been completed.

 
Hegde has rehabilitated 70 Marble trader shops, 150 houses, one Madrassa and saved 3 temples and also 280 houses for the Milan Subway flyover.
