M’lore: Neha Shetty crowned Miss Mangalore, Vikas Putran Mr Mangalore

Mangalore, 12 Feb 2014: Curtains are down for third edition of the Mangalore’s undisputed top fashion event Miss and Mr Mangalore organized by The World Tuluvas Network (WTN) Trust at a grand event at 2 Acres, Pachanady here on Saturday February 8.

 
Bangalore girl Neha Shetty has been crowned Miss Mangalore 2014 while Vikas Putran, a fitness consultant, won the Mr Mangalore 2014 title.

 
Arfa Rahman and Anjali Shetty managed to secure first and second runners-up positions at the Pageant whereas Isham Malik and Likith Kaushik stood as first and second runners-up in the race for Mr Mangalore 2014 title.

 
The Best hair was won by Ashvithi Shetty, Best Photogenic Face -Bhavana Shetty, Miss Talent and Miss Perfect 10 – Lavanaya Gandhi, Best Ramp Walk – Neha shetty, Best Smile – Criselle.

 
Mr and Miss Mangalore  2014 was judged by renowned fashion designer, also known was ‘Fashion dad of India’ Ramesh Dembla , well-known model choreographer Sameer Khan, Miss South India 2014 and Miss Mangalore 2012 first runner-up Abhishikta Shetty, New Zealand super model Aafreen Vaz , model and Miss Mangalore 2013 first  runner-up Tanishka Kapoor , Cinepolis south regional head Sathish Kumar, film maker Sandeep Malani, advertising photographer Santhosh Chowta, model Oves, and Dubai-based fashion choreographer Nawaz.

 

The auditions for the pageant were held on January 25. The participants were groomed by Sameer Khan especially for the event.

 
Miss Mangalore winner Neha Shetty gets direct entry to Miss South India, Miss Bangalore pageant and has won a chance to walk the ramp in Ramesh Dembla Fashion events while Mr Mangalore Vikas Putran will get modelling contracts.

 
The other prime attractions of the event were Bike stunts by Team Zero Gravity, dance performances by Team Infinity and Aloysius, artist Varnodhars performance, Music by Cross Bands, NGO help by Super Souls.

 
Winner of first edition of WTN Ms Mangalore Disha Dinakar, Laksh bhandary of Bhandary Builders were amongst special invitees in the event.
