Mumbai: GSB Mandal Dombivali celebrate Sixth Maghi Ganapati Utsav

Mumbai, 7 Feb 2014: GSB Mandal of central suburban Dombivali celebrated sixth annual Maghi Ganapati Utsav with religious fervor atSwayamvar auditorium, Patharli, Dombivali (East) here on Monday February 3.


 
The mass prayers, various Vedic rituals, free food offerings were held on the occasion.  The decorated idol of Lord Ganapati was taken in a grand procession and discharged in a water-pond on Monday night. 

 


 
The idol was made out of clay from Kundapur as every year, while the Mangalore’s renown potter created in Dombivali itself.


 
Thousands of devotees partaken in the Utsav and prayed Lord Ganapati to protect them from imminent dangers.
