M’lore: Customs Officers seize 107 Gold Foil-Strips worth Rs 13.98 Lac at City Airport

Mangalore, 4 Feb 2014: The customs officers at Mangalore International Airport seized 107 foil strips-of-gold, totally weighing 464.750 grams and valued at Rs 13,98,602, concealed in ladies-stocking retail packs inside a suitcase from a passenger here on Monday February 3.

 


 
The passenger Abdulla Haris Mukkunnoth Pallikunhi, is a resident of Naseema Manzil, Bare Post, Kasargod district of  Kerala, who arrived at Mangalore International Airport on Monday February 3 at about 17.15 hours by Air India Express flight number IX 384 from Dubai.


 
Further investigation is under progress.
