Udupi: Jaycees aims to Empower Disabled in Society; Zonal Prez Sridar

Udupi, 29 Sep 2013: Jaycees Club International (JCI) has been doing yeomen service in identifying the helpless people and helping them to come to the mainstream of society. This noble work has to be consistent, said JCI zonal president Sridar P S.
Sridar was speaking during the distribution of artificial limb to the needy during the simple function held at Jaycees Bhavan, Kaup, near here on Saturday September 29. The artificial limbs were donated jointly by JCI – Kaup and Lanco Foundation.
JCI has been laying emphasis on personality development, and it has become closer to the people by human social service, said Sridar.
The artificial limbs were distributed to the beneficiaries to Ratnamma Katpady, Ramesh Bantakal, Dharmendra Kaup, Shalina Katpady, Albert D’Souza Padoor and Srinivas Acharya Palimar on the occasion.
JCI zonal vice president Ratnakar Indrali, Lanco Foundation officer Arvind Karant, Kaup PHC medical officer Dr Rabindranat Bolar, Uliyaragoli gram panchayat president Pradeep U, entrepreneur Taranat Kotian, zonal director Deepak Kumar Yermal, Jaycerat president Soumya Rakesh, the programme director Dinesh Shetty Kalya was present on the occasion.
JCI – Kaup president Rakesh Kunjoor welcomed the gathering. The secretary Ramesh Naik proposed vote of thanks.
