Mumbai : Karnataka Vishwakarma Association organizes annual celebration of Vishwakarma Mahotsav

Mumbai, 18 Sep, 2013 : The metro based Karnataka Vishwakarma Association ® organized the annual celebration of Vishwakarma Mahotsav at Janakibai auditorium, Andheri (West) here on Monday September 16.

 

Vedanyrtu Balakrishna purohit performed vedic rites that was led by Nagesh S Acharya and Geeta Nagesh couple.  Vedamurti Shankarnat Acharya distributed the prasadams to the devotees.  The purohit Gopalakrishna and others assisted in puja celebrations.

The Association president Nitte Damodar Acharya presided the stage programme held later,

 

The advocate Alevoor Madhav Acharya was the chief guest felicitated Karnate black belt recipients Ayush Acharya and Baby Anushka, besides Raghavendra V.Acharya on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Madhav Acharya said that life is worthily lived if one works diligently and honestly.  If the families try to collectively strengthen the bond, the new generation will learn the cultural significance in their life.

The Association building Committee president Dr.K.Mohan, women wing president Usha G. Munnoor, youth wing president Pradeep R.Acharya, wee present at the dais. The prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions.  A luck-dip draw was held and winners were awarded with prizes.

The Association vice president Upendra Acharya, treasurer Harish G.Acharya, joint secretary Sudhir Acharya, joint treasurer Baburaj Acharya, building Committee vice president Krishna V. Acharya, former president Janardhan T.Acharya, G.T. Acharyta, M.A. Acharya, Sridar V. Acharya, P.J. Acharya, vastu expert Ashok Purohit and others were present on the occasion.

The women wing organized the competition of weaving the flowers earlier day.  Gopalakrishna Acharya and Chetan Prashant Acharya have drawn up the colorful rangoli on the occasion.

 

Jagdish Acharya of Kalasindhu Puttur and Kalavati Dayanand Udupi devotional music group staged devotional singing programme.  The Association executive Committee members, women wing members, Sri Lalitamba Bhajan Mandal – Borivali and Vishwakarma Kalikamba Bhajan group staged devotional singing programme.  The little children staged classical dance.

The women wing president Sumitra S Acharya, former president Mira S Acharya, organizers Jayalaxmi D Acharya, Shubha S Acharya, Shubha S Acharya and Ravish Acharya conducted the competitions. Ganesh Kumar welcomed the gathering.  The honorary secretary Prasad compered the programme.
