Mumbai, 10 Aug 2013 : Bharat Bank Staff Welfare Club of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, a multi-state scheduled bank, organized family get-together at Fine Arts Sivaswamy auditorium, Chembur, here on Friday August 9.

 

Bharat Bank former chairman and director Jaya C Suvarna was the chief guest of the occasion.Speaking on the occasion, Jaya Suvarna said that the employees’ contributions to the Bank’s growth are noteworthy.  The staff are the ambassadors of Bank as they deal with customers daily, while the annual get-together forges a strong bond between Board of Directors and employees, which would contribute for mutual gains, said Jaya.

 

Dr Bharat Shah said that he has observed the dedication of Bank staff towards their duties and urged them to be honest and hard working, sacrificing for further growth of the Bank, urged Dr Shah.

 

Dr Pavan advised the Bank staff to give equal priority to their work and good health.

 

Dr Prakash, spoke on organ donation, commending the decision of the Bank chairman Vasudev and Mohini Kotian couple for signing the undertaking to donate their organ after their death.Dr Harish Kumar, Dr Bharat Shah, Dr Pavan Kumar, Dr Suresh Shetty, Dr Prashant Rajput were the guests of honor.

 

 

The Bank chairman Vasudev R Kotian and Mohini Vasudev R Kotian were awarded with ‘Bharat Spoorti’ during the programme.

 

The Bank deputy chairperson advocate Rohini J Salian, the Bank’s directors M B Kukyan, Pushpalata N Salian, L V Amin, Jyoti K Suvarna, Y Nagesh, Chandrashekar S Poojary, M B Sanil, Jyoti K Suvarna, Y Nagesh, Chandrashekar S Poojary, M B Sanil, N Nityanand, Bhaskar M Salian, Rohit M Suvarna and Ratan U Sanil were present at the dais.

 

The long-time Bank’s customer Subash Amin felicitated Jaya C Suvarna on behalf of Bharat Bank for bagging Top Bank Award from Brahanmumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks Association Limited, Mumbai.

 

The Bank’s managing director and Bharat Bank Welfare Club president C R Mulky welcomed the gathering.  The chief general manager Anil Kumar R Amin, deputy chief manager Shobha Dayanand greeted the dignitaries with flower bouquets.  Ramesh Poojary, Srinivas Poojary, Dinesh Poojary, Janaki Nagesh honored the health officers for their healthcare services. The condolences were offered for the departed soul of the late Sadashiv Poojary.

 

The Bank Officers Association president Kiran B Amin, Moksha Kotian, Babita Kotian, Sheethal Amin, treasurer Pushparaj Belady introduced the guests.  The honorary chief secretary Dinesh A Poojary proposed vote of thanks.  The top officers of Bank, staff and their families from its branches across Maharashtra and Karnataka participated in the daylong get-together on the occasion. Variety cultural shows were held including musical concert as part of entertainment programme.
