Mangalore: AMUCT Convention on Higher Edu at SAC on Jun 30

Mangalore, 25 June 2013: The Association of Mangalore University College Teachers ® AMUCT will be organizing a convention on higher education at St Aloysius College on  Sunday  June 30 at 10.30am.

 
The state health and family welfare minister U T Khader will be the chief guest of the occasion.

The state department of collegiate education director Dr B L Bhagyalakshmi,  Mangalore regional office – department of collegiate education joint director Dr Devanand R Gaonkar, FUCTAK president C H Murigendrappa ,  FUCTAK general secretary K M Nagaraj, KGCTA president T M Manjunath and KGCTA general secretary Bhagyavana M will be the guests of honor.

 
St Aloysius College (Autonomous) principal Fr Swebert D’Silva SJwill preside over the function.

 

 The convention will deliberate upon various issues concerning higher education and will approve significant resolutions.
AMUCT bulletin will be released during the programme, besides the retired college lectueres, Ph D holders and achievers will be honored at the same occasion.

AMUCT President Dr Norbert Lobo and general secretary Purushothama K V in a media release, urged t he members of the University and college teachers and AMUCT members as well as other stakeholders in higher education to participate in large numbers.
