Abu Dhabi: Wilson Oliver Nite was a super success musical extravaganza enjoyed by one and all

Dubai, 5 May 2013: Wilson Olivera Nite being held first time in Abu Dhabi mesmerized the Abu Dhabi Konkani audience on Saturday evening at the India Social and Cultural Centre.  Though the large crowd was expected many could not make it due to being a working day for some on Saturday and normal week day begins on Sunday.  But those who attended the show had a memorable day as the super show by Wilson and his team of well-known singers Rony D’Cunha, Zeena Pereira, Preema D’Souza, Pradeep Pinto, Prashant Pinto, Monica Valdar entertained the audience with their scintillating numbers while the well-known dance troupe of Dubai Ocean Kids performed scintillating dances and entertained the crowd thoroughly.  Amazingly the audience did not wanted to leave at the end and wanted more as the frenzy crowd rushed to the floor and began to dance to the beautiful numbers of duo Rony and Zeena and they too joined with the crowd to dance while singing.  Those who could not make it to this show lost a golden opportunity.

 
Ronald Olivera a prominent and famous MC of U.A.E welcomed the audience and thanked the event organizer Mr. Jawahar Castelino for coming forward to sponsor the event individually.  He also thanked Broadway Sound System and event management team for extending support to organize the show in Abu Dhabi including providing sound system and finally to the audience for their attendance.

 
Abu Dhabi audience was very eager to see Wilson Olivera and to listen to him for the first time and he was welcomed warmly by the audience and he reciprocated them with a wonderful new song  ”Ugdas Tumcho Ailo”, singing beautifully followed by another well-known Konkani singer Ronald D’Cunha known for his melodious voice sang “Kenna Kenna “ followed by “Kallki Rath “ by Pradeep Pinto and Preema D’Souza a beautiful lady with a golden voice from the Mogachim Larama musical troupe accompanied by dance by Ocean Kids of Dubai.  Zeena Pereira as we all know, she is a well know singer from Mangalore who has sung in various CDs and musical concerts with her golden voice sang” Konn re tum?”  to a thunderous applause.  This followed one by one super hit song such as “Vochonk asa tuvem” (Wilson), “Mothint ek Asha” (Prashant Pinto), etc.  Preema D’Souza’s 17 Sompon 18 was a supper hit song sang beautifully which received a thunderous applaud from the audience and every soul in the audience loved it.  But it was the great singer Rony D’Cunha along with Zeena made mark in the hearts of people with his continuous singing beautiful fast, duo and group singing with great enthusiasm and he encouraged the people to dance and one word from him and the whole crowd was on the floor dancing and Rony and Zeena joining them and all day a beautiful memorable moments dancing together to the wonderful numbers. 

 

 

Memory Comedy Group, Mellu, Moras Richa left their memory in the minds of Abu Dhabi audience with their laugh riot and entertained the audience with splendid rib-tickling comedy and kept the audience happy all through the program.

 

Wilson Olivera presented some of his new songs such as “Naveekarann”, “Business Ghallo”, and finally the entire team of singers thanked the konkani community of Abu Dhabi with a farewell song:  “Dev Borem Korum” and the Abu Dhabi audience receiprocrated with a great applauds and reluctantly left the hall.

 

Earlier Rony D’Cunha, Zeena Pereira, Pradeep and Prashant Pinto, Preema D’Souza and another great singer Monica Valdar from Dubai rendered one of the other super hit songs accompanied by scintillating dances by Ocean Kids enthralled the crowd. It was one of the most memorable Musical Nite of Wilson Olivera with a few new artists and new songs and wonderful singing supported by comedy skits by Me_Mo_Re and the scintillating dances made the musical night a memorable one

 

Wilson Olivera was honoured by Mr. Jawahar Castelino (Seasons Middle East Fz) with a flower bouquet who is the main sponsor of the even and there was no other stage during this show.

 
The music was provided by Adrian Gomes especially flown from Kuwait and accompanied by local musicians and lovely dances were presented by Ocean Kids Dubai choreographed by Vinod Sequira.  The sound system and lighting was provided by a well-known sound and event management company U.A.E. Broadway and the entire show was well supported by Broadway team.
