Dubai: 5th Lancy Nite mesmerized the crowd with musical extravaganza and super singing

Dubai, 19 April 2013: Lancy Noronha’s 5th Musical Nite proved to be one of the super duper shows enthralling and mesmerizing the crowd with the musical extravaganza.  It was one of the most memorable musical program ever performed in Dubai in recent time.  Every soul in the audience enjoyed thoroughly the beautiful and melodious singing by Lancy and his team with a fitting background music provided by one of the finest musician in Dubai Ramiro Mascarenhas proved to be one of the best music enjoyed by Dubai Konkani crowd.

 

On Friday night at the JSS School Hall Lancy Noronha along with his main supporter and co-ordinator Joseph Mathias who organized the show proved that they have talent and all the new singers they had selected for the first time to sing in a concert proved that they can sing and showed the Dubai crowd they are the best singers.  This was Lancy’s 5th Night and one of the best ever performed with a loads of scintillating dances by Feat Beet group and the wonderful  Power Point and Backdrop presentation also added the glamour to the wonderful show.

 

The show began with a prayer song invoking God’s graces followed up a wonderful group song “Monglurchi Keerth “ by all singers praising our home land Mangalore and her blessings on her children.

 

Then began the pure mesmerizing songs dropped like pearls from the shells by all leading Konkani stars/singers of Dubai.  Ullo (Asha Fernandes), Suzanna (Vincy Rodrigus and Lancy Noronha), Chilipili Suknyano (Lancy’s daughter Lanita).  The family song Sangeeth Kutam (by Lancy and his family Shyna, Lanita & Sonu) was wonderfully sang and proved that they were the best Musical family of Dubai appreciated by the audience.  Mon Bhullem another song was wonderfully sung by Joseph Mathias (MD of Merit Freight and Logistics Systems) proved that he is a very good singer, followed by “Lanpona” (Preema DSouza) and Narla Vollem by (Lancy & Joseph) a beautiful duet song was wonderfully presented.

 

On the occasion a new Konkani CD “ Ashawadi “ by a well known musician and singer from UK was released amidst main artists and guests on stage namely Walter Nandalike, Dayan D’Souza, Vincent Fernandes, Ramero Mascarenhas, Joseph Mathias and Lancy Noronha.  All the guests on dais were also honoured with floral bouquets.   All the song sponsors were also honoured on the occasion.

Second session of the show was once again began with a sentimental song “Johnsona” based on true story of Johnson who was killed in Iraq war  was wonderful sung by another well-known singer of Dubai Mario Rego followed by  “Salvli Tuji “ GVOM singer Sabitha.  Next song was by a very famous and recognized MC /Compare of U.A.E. Roshan D’Silva Vamanjoor singing for the first time on stage did justice by singing a sentimental song “ Monglur Xshera “based on attack on Mangalore Churches and Shrines by unknown miscreants  was appreciated and applauded by the crowd.  The other songs such as “Gupith Mog” (Jeevan Vaz-GVOM) & Cresilla) Mai by Shyna and Sabitha.  “ Modhala Preethi “ and “Madonji Morante”  a fast track songs by Lancy Nornohna mesmerized the audience.

 

“ Fabella “ (Diany and Mario), The final session was a traditional Roce ceremony with Alwyn Pinto as gurkar and all the singers joined in singing Roce song was another attraction that provided magical moments and all young and old joined in dancing to this wonderful song followed by Nach Go Bai Nach was a super duper hit song.

 

The wonderful music was provided Ramiro and team lifted the program and dances by Feat Beat were the special attraction.  To fulfill the needs of the children and to provide some entertainment Antony Mascarenhas  the magic King from Puttur entertain the kids with his magical feet.

 

The super comedy team Pradeep Barboza and team (Deepak, Pradeep and Lavina) provided rib-tickling comedy in between brought laughter riot.  The popular emcees Dony Correa and his wife Asha compared the show wonderfully.

 

Joseph Mathias proposed the vote of thanks and said that his aim was to provide the opportunity to the budding talents and singers and today he is happy that they proved their talents by singing wonderful ly singing.  He also thanked all personnel involved in organizing the show, singers, dancers, choreographs, musicians, media personnel and especially Lancy and his family for their total dedication for the event and put up this great show.

 

All the media representatives, singers, artists were recognized with floral bouquets.
