Kundapur: Ghastly Accident Victim 32-Yr-Old Preetham Lewis, Popular native of Barkoor Passes Away

Kundapur, 17 Apr 2013: Thirty-two-year-old Preetham Lewis, son of the late Peter Lewis and Violet Lewis, natives of Muduhadukudru, Barkoor, near here who was critically injured in a ghastly road mishap at Murdeshwar in Uttar Kannada district on January 16 2013, passed away here on Monday April 13.
Preetham Lewis is survived by his wife Avita Lewis, six-month-old son Neeven, mother and sister.
Pretham was the partner in Regal Transport and well known in localities of Barkoor, Sastan, Kota, Kundapur, Brahmavar and neighbouring villages.
The funeral of Preetham was held on Tuesday April 16 at Barkoor parish.
Barkoor parish priest Fr Valerian Mendonca, Kundapur deanery vicar Fr Anil D’souza, Kallianpur deanery vicar Fr Stany Lobo, Basroor parish preist Fr Vishal Lobo, and several priests attended the funeral.
Thousands of people of different faiths, former MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty and local leaders were present at the occasion.
