Sunita Lobo, Student of Manasa Spl School, Pamboor to Represent India in Special Olympics

Udupi, 16 Jan 2013: Sunita Lobo, a student of Manasa Special School, Pamboor, near Bantakal – Shirva has been qualified to represent India in the special Olympics scheduled to be held at Piong Chang, South Korea, from January 25 to February 5.
Sunita is the daughter of the late Peter Lobo and Hellen Lobo, natives of Hanehalli village of Barkoor, near here.  She is one among 4 children of Lobo family.  She was admitted to Manasa Special School on June 1 2003. 

 

 

Her sports talents were identified in early stages that helped to qualify in floor hockey selection camp held at Simla during July 2011.  She was chosen for 2 preparatory Olympics in national camp and got a chance to represent India.  She displayed her sports talent during national preparatory camp held in Himachal Pradesh from January 3 to January 8.  It enabled her to get a chance to represent India in Special Olympics scheduled to be held at South Korea.
