Mangalore:Festivals celebrated at Nisarga

Mangalore, 23 Dec 2012: Celebration of Festivals Id, Diwali and Christmas was held at Nisarga Play School, Opp. KPT Grounds, Mangalore. The programme was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by the Correspondent, Headmistress and the Teaching Staff. UKG children invoked the blessings of God on the Programme.

 

Mrs. Patsy D’Souza, Headmistress welcomed and briefed the gathering about the relevance of the programme. Mr. Victor D’Souza, the Correspondent of the school distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions.

 

 

The UKG children performed X’mas Dance, LKG students exhibited Id & Diwali dance and the Pre-KG and Play Group children performed Diwali Dance. The Programme was full of Dance fusion and music to add a sparkle to the festive season.

 

To make the atmosphere more Christmas-like there was ’Santa Claus’ distributing chocolate to the little ones. Each child of Nisarga was given a Christmas gift. Children celebrating their birthday’s in the Month of December cut their Birthday cake in the school along with their parents.
