Mangalore: Admissions open for PG diploma in Konkani
Mangalore, 18 Jul 2012: The city based Institute of Konkani, St Aloysius College has invited applications for two-year postgraduate diploma studies in Konkani. The classes will be commencing from the month of September.
This PG course extensively covers subjects like Konkani history, prose, drama and poetry in the first year of the course and in second year students will be taught about Konkani folklore, literary criticism, linguistics, comparative literature, and grammar. Students have to take examinations for each subject. During the final year students will have the option to write a detailed dissertation on any of the 40 subjects listed by the institute to enhance the academic excellence of students. Students, who have completed II PU in any stream are eligible to take this PG course.
Fee structure for this course are as follows, for first year - Rs 810 and second year - Rs 900, for foreign students Rs 4,000 for each year.
